  The New York State Fair Toyota coliseum hosts horse shows including the Coliseum Classic Horse Show as well as dairy cow shows during the NY State Fair. In , in an effort to enforce distancing during the pandemic, fair officials booted the wine slushie stands out of the Colonnade, the space adjacent to the Dairy Products Building that was often a major congestion point during the fair.

Instead, slushie stands were scattered across the fairgrounds, primarily along Broadway, the street that heads west past the new Expo Center. And several wine slushie vendors were no-shows. This year, there are at least four slushie stands on the Colonnade itself, and two others below it on the ground level facing Chevy Court.
